The new Superlight V2 springs are developed using exotic materials used mainly in motorsport applications.
This material is characterized by a very high strength and elastic modulus which, combined with a very dedicated design and specific production processes, allows the new generation of Superlight springs to weigh up to 30% less than previous Superlight springs and other "normal" steel springs (the percentage weight reduction depends on the spring stiffness and travel values).

FEATURES:

• The characteristic of a higher percentage of vanadium leads to a possible very high dynamic stress
• Long life (automotive standard of over 500,000 cycles)
• Weight reduction compared to the same “normal” spring steel spring (up to 30% reduction, depending on the spring characteristics)

EXT Superlight V2 springs are carefully calculated to the minimum length for the required travel, this means that your spring will totally cover the shock absorber travel, but will also have a lighter weight. EXT springs are developed for long-term use, thanks to improved mechanical characteristics and material derived directly from motorsport. We offer a 25lb rate increase to fine-tune your bike.

EXT Superlight V2 springs do not require any preload (maximum preload of 2mm) allowing for the best damping feel. The use of springs with a K greater than 600 requires dedicated hardware/adapter, ask your local EXT dealer for more information.
