Building on over 30 years of manufacturing, Hope Pro 5 combines all its experience to meet and exceed the needs of riders. The Pro 4 proved to be one of the most reliable and versatile hubs on the market. Hope Pro 5 builds on this with improvements throughout, offering the right balance of speed, load capacity, durability and strength.

One of the key design goals for the Pro 5 hub is reducing drag in the drive mechanism. This has big advantages in riding, achieved through a new zero-drag seal and an improved ratchet and pawl system, with new springs. Both significantly reduce drag and increase durability and load capacity compared to the Pro 4.

Another major upgrade on the rear hubs is the increase in engagement points (from 44 to 108) using a 6-pawl freehub design. The right balance between pick-up speed, load capacity, strength and durability, and in real terms, it offers a feeling of speed while keeping crank movement at an acceptable level without compromising freehub movement and reliability.

New axle design allowing the use of larger bearings in a better arrangement to accommodate the latest freehub standards, increasing load capacity.
