PIRELLI CINTURATO GRAVEL H

Cinturato™ Gravel H is the specific Gravel tire designed for compact terrain, harder surfaces, and faster routes. The tread features low, closely spaced knobs and a high ability to conform to the ground, providing a large contact patch and thus excellent riding feel. The special SpeedGrip Compound adds mechanical resistance and chemical grip characteristics without reducing rolling resistance. Cinturato™ Gravel H is a high-performance tubeless-ready tire with unique grip characteristics in all conditions, both dry and wet, as well as a high level of puncture protection. This model is the ideal choice for those who use their gravel bike on less demanding, predominantly flat, and flowing routes. Cinturato Gravel H is compatible with hookless rims, respecting the ETRTO inflation limit of 5 bar/72.5 psi.

SpeedGRIP compound

A specific formulation for Gravel, born from Pirelli's experience in the rally world where characteristics of rolling resistance on asphalt and grip on dirt are crucial. This compound uses the same polymer matrix as the MTB SmartGrip Compound, but improves its rolling resistance. Gravel use requires greater speed and on/off-road versatility, which is why Pirelli's engineers have oriented the compound's properties towards better energy efficiency, allowing excellent performance on dirt roads and high grip in both dry and wet conditions. With rolling resistance values on any surface similar to those recorded by purely road tires.

TechWALL Gravel

Combining the know-how developed for reinforced road structures and the experience gained in MTB, Pirelli's engineers have created a Gravel construction that relies on both the mechanical resistance of the compound itself and a high cut-resistant layer that protects the casing from bead to bead. While punctures on the road mainly occur due to penetration by sharp objects, off-road they are more frequently caused by stones or debris on the sidewall of the tire. For this reason, the textile material used for the TechWALL construction is particularly resistant to cuts, in order to ensure better resistance of the entire structure. The 120tpi tubeless-ready casing guarantees optimal riding feel without the risk of forced stops thanks to the use of specific anti-cut fabrics.
